AMP Workshop files

You can practice loading a soundtrack and jpgs into Soundslides by downloading March Source Files. It is a good idea to put your soundtrack file and your jpg format pictures in the same folder. Slug the folder name with some indication of the story and that the folder is source files. In this case, the project is about a troop of Boy Scouts marching to an arena show at the national jamboree.

When you unzip the downloaded folder “March Source Files,” you will find two audio files. Mac users will use the one with the extension “.aiff” and PC users will use the one with the extension “.wav.” These are uncompressed audio files. Soundslides will compress them on import.

When you name your Soundslides project folder, slug it with the same name, in this case March. It will be easy to kept track of your stories.
